The Nokia 7650 is the first phone from this company which features an integrated digital camera. A dual band phone which allows you to use .wav files as ringtones the large color display is fantastic. The phones keypad is hidden initially but at the flick of a button it smoothly slides out. Photos can be easily taken and depending on the time of the shoot (night or day) the photograph may be adjusted for perfect clarity. More than a 100 photos can be easily recorded and any of them may be selected and sent as MMS not to mention attaching sound files also. Like a particular natural scene too much? Just click it and use it as your background, the 7650 allows you to set wallpapers from clicked snaps!

Photos may also be emailed or sent to the PC via infra red. The joystick allows easy navigation and the menus are entirely icon based giving you a feeling that you are navigating on a handheld running a very smooth stable version of Windows. Contact details such as Name, multiple telephone numbers, email addresses can be stored in just one entry. The shared memory system of the 7650 allows an almost innumerable number of entries. A fantastic detail of the phone book is that you can just snap a picture of your contact and attach it to his entry in the phonebook. This causes the phone to display his photo as the caller ID instead of the number. A really cool features that one. Games are really fun to play on the large color display and also support downloadable Java based games along with Symbian based games.

Surfing the internet is easy and fast as the screen is not as small as in other cases and WAP over GPRS enables a fast and active connection. Bluetooth is also included so the phone can effortlessly communicate with any other Bluetooth devices within its range. In case your PC or laptop does not support Bluetooth, there always is the IR port. The 7650 also features POP3 email and a very good speaker phone which can be used for a really good hands free experience.

The shared memory which allows you to store ringtones( mono / polyphonic) , contacts, photos etc comes to a total of about 3.5 MB. The color display allows upto 4096 colors and the 7650 works on a Symbian Operating system with IDP Java support. Weighing in at a relatively healthy 154 gms and quite large dimensions as compared to today's smaller is better world, the phone is certainly not something which can be easily slipped into a pocket. But then after buying a 7650 you won't want it to be inconspicuous instead proudly hold it where people are sure to look at you with envious eyes.
